Submissions for the virtual 2021 Annual Conference Programs are due April 4, 2021.

The Programs and Speakers Committee is interested in reviewing ideas and best practices you can share with colleagues from around the state.  Please consider submitting either a proposal to host a short discussion Roundtable Topic you are knowledgeable and passionate about or a 1 hour Presentation Proposal in which you can share your ideas and best practices with your colleagues from around the state.  We encourage you to frame your presentation proposals around our conference theme, Come HOME to FloridaACE: Hope, Opportunity, and Meaningful Engagement. As you consider program topics, consider the three key elements of our theme:

  • Hope addresses the search for stability in a new normal for our professional lives and the lives of those we serve. Consider submitting a program proposal if your organization or school developed new or improved ways to deliver services or created programs that instill hope for a better tomorrow.

  • Opportunity builds on FloridaACE’s continued commitment to inclusion and diversity efforts, which includes our newly formed Inclusion and Diversity Committee and our 2020 Drive-In Conference’s focus on the many facets of IDEO efforts. If your school or company is tackling inclusion, diversity, equity, or opportunity challenges in new or unique ways, we want to hear from you!

  • Meaningful Engagement is our focus on providing ways for people to connect in a pandemic-challenged environment. If you established new ways to operate successfully in a socially distanced way or figured out how to get more out of different technologies to reach students, this is your chance to share and be recognized!

The deadline for submissions is April 4, 2021.

The top rated program from the 2021 Annual Conference will have to opportunity to present their program in a webinar in the Fall of 2021.
